What is Depth of Field?
Depth of field is the distance the camera will capture in the photograph of the image take. This is important as the focus point of a picture is concentrating on a certain object, for example if I was taking a photograph of an animal like a duck or a dog, I would want the dog to be in focus and the background blurred out or not there at all.
The smaller the depth of field, the more focused it'll be to the closest objects and the furthest object will be out of focus.
But the bigger the depth of field, the whole image will be focused.

Here are my images with the smallest depth of field (F5) to the biggest (F22):
As you can see, the shallowest depth of field has the watch in focus and the building not in focus.The larger depth of field shows everything in focus as this setting is the capture that is seen in the view finder.
I went out to take more pictures as I wanted to capture depth of field clearly as it shows the difference between a shallow depth of field and a deep depth of field.
